Chateau du Trignon Gigondas 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Intense ruby color. Strawberries and redcurrants on the nose. Smooth and well-balanced on the palate.Backstory: For centuries the Quiot family has established wonderful properties in the southern Rhone Valley. The story begins at Chateauneuf-du-Pape where Antoine Quiot acquired a few hectares of vines in 1748. Today, the Domaine du Vieux Lazaret comprises more than 100 hectares. The 13th generation of the family currently work the estate. (Adapted from the winery website.) *Yet another fine import from our friends David and Alex Milligan*.[A blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre]
