Chateau du Trignon Cotes du Rhone 2016

Winemaker's Notes:

A blend of Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah, Trignon's Cotes du Rhone has an intense ruby color. Red and dark fruits, along with earthy hints and a touch of spice, are all evident on the nose. Strawberry and redcurrant notes are in evidence on the palate, with good weight and balance. The tannins are soft, and the finish is lush and long.

An excellent full-bodied wine that goes so well with many dishes. Smooth and delicious.

This is a nice, complex wine. It has soft tannins. It does not have a long finish. Enjoyable and understated.

Excellent value, a fruity (but not sweet) red. Juicy and vibrant strawberry flavours with a hint of mint. Medium bodied. Easy drinking now, it won't keep. 14% alcohol.

Intense ruby color, strawberries, redcurrants, bilberries. Smooth and well- balanced on the palate. A soft , fruity wine. Drink with charcuterie or picnic fare.

Dark red. Intensely floral scents of lavender, rose, raspberry, cherry and garrigue Midweight red and dark berry flavors are firmed by zesty minerals and fine-grained tannins. The lively finish leaves sweet cherry and mineral notes behind

Brillant ruby color. Notes of toast, mocha, 'guarrigue' and cloves. A fresh, powerful attack. Full- bodied, complexe structure. Delicate oaky finish.
