Château du Cèdre Cahors Héritage 2006

Member Review by josepdin:

As Malbecs go, it was fair. A drinkable wine, and not bad with lamb. This was actually a mistake by the restaurant (I had ordered the OTHER 2006 Malbec). The waiter and I were both distracted with the label damage and before I realized it was the wrong wine, it was open. My fault as I was on autopilot at the time. About the wine, lots of tannin. Can definitely differentiate this wine from Argentine wines. Dark ruby color with some oak, cherry. I would drink it again if it were free but I can get a nice Argentine Malbec which is more enjoyable for less.
