Food Pairings for Chateau des Karantes la Clape
Soil: Clay and Limestone mixed with 130 million years old fossils

Growing Climate: The entire vineyard is in the Coteaux du Languedoc - La Clape Appellation. The location allows the production of quality wines because of its exceptionel South-East/East exposition, its proximity to the sea and its Mediterrenean climate. Hand Harvest allows us to adapt harvest date to the maturity of each plot. We don't hesitate to stop in the middle of harvest in order to leave time for each plot to reach prime maturity.

Type of Harvest: Hand Harvest

Alcohol Percentage: 14.5 %
