Winemaker's Notes:

Dark red color. On the nose, aromas of coffee and plum. The hint of mint is a characteristic of wines from Cahors. Dry tannins.

Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Unexpectedly delightful wine. [Apparently it is a 'blend']. Good berry and pencil-shavings on the nose.Full bodied with moderate attack and a pleasant aftertaste. [only had one bottle and so i am currently searching for a case of it!]
