Deep garnet color. Great nose of red berries, leather and vanillin. Medium-bodied; smooth with great fruit sensations (red cherries and plums); smooth tannins with a long finish on fruit and vanillin. Complex wine and quite elegant. Ideal with big dishes ranging from poultry to red meats (delicious with duck). Can be aged 4 to 5 years but drinks well now.
