The year 2000 was one of the best harvest for the Tokaji Aszu wines. Long summer and moist fogy fall was perfect condition for the Bortrytis. (Noble Rot) This vintage will be remembered.
The color is Liquid Gold and the nose like an orchard of orange blossoms and a touch of sweet Bortrytis. The aromas and flavors of honey and orange enrobe the palate in perfect harmony. Long languid finish with elegant complexity.
