Chateau de Taste Cotes de Bourg 2009

External Review by WineExpress.com:

Here's our Bordeaux of the year for 2011. From the much celebrated 2009 vintage, Parker raves about the '09s comparing them favorably to 2000's and 2005's. This wine is from a small estate on the Right Bank of the Dordogne. 60% Merlot 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Malbec make up the blend. Lush flavors a fleshy frame and an unbelievable price make this Petit Chateau wine an absolute winner. Enjoy it now or let it mature over the next 1-4 years. Rated Excellent by the Washington Post in their article 2009 Petits Chateaux Bordeaux Worth Snapping Up for Later they said "This wine shines right off the cork and keeps getting better as the night goes on. Bright red-fruit aromas with a hint of flowers, with refreshing acidity and a silky mouth feel. Decant an hour or two before drinking to allow the flavors to emerge."

Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
