Château de Sancerre 2007
Château de Sancerre, built in the 10th century by the Count of Champagne, is the most prestigious property in Sancerre, and the only one that can use the Château de Sancerre name. Its sought-after hillside vineyards have been attached to the Château for centuries. The classic estate bottled wines exemplify Sancerre’s sophisticated minerality & bracing acidity.
Citrus, cat pee aromas with lemon lime on the palate - grapefruit green apples, light, refreshing, acidic Goes best with fresh goat cheese.
I had this wonderful wine for the first time at Chez Catherines in Westfield, NJ. Its the lightest and fruitiest Sauvignon Blanc I have ever tasted. My wife and I were enchanted by it.. Highly recommended!!
I tried this wine for the very first time today...SUPERB!! Highly recommend!
