Château de Puligny Montrachet Meursault les Poruzots Premiere Cru 2001

Winemaker's Notes:

87-89 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): (from a .73 ha parcel of vines planted in 1983). The nose is ripe, fresh, fruity and ever-so-slightly rustic yet the flavors are backward to the point of austerity and this finishes with good power, length and a sappy, mouth coating character. This is quite robust and it makes a statement. Drink: 2007-2011. (Jul 2003)
