Château de Pez Red Bordeaux Blend St. Estèphe 2006

Winemaker's Notes:

Winery notes: The 2005 vintage is dense in color retaining a purplish-blue hint typical of wines that are slow to develop. The slightly toasty nose has plenty of red- and black- berry fruit and a hint of jamminess mingled with aromas of spice and tobacco. The nose is reminiscent of the 2004 vintage and is what you would expect of a wine made from very ripe grapes.

admittedly was wowed by strong berry fruits in the nose, but the hard spicy and woody texture unfortunately did not make up for it...

Plenty of clean fruit, with blackberry and currant. Medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins and a fresh finish. —J.S. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2006 De Pez 750ml
