Food Pairings for Château de Parenchère Red Bordeaux Blend Bordeaux Supérieur Cuvée Raphaël
Pleasant and approachable Bordeaux. Nice nose and fairly long finish.
Nice bluberry fruit, well integrated with the tannic structure to support the fruit and acidity. Age-worthy? Best wine so far...
Medium bodied with a decent finish. Tasted hints of blackcurrant and oak accompanied by a background of soft tannins. They state the ideal drinking period is 4 to 10 years but I felt like this wine was at its peak if not a little beyond it. The wine was decanted before drinking and sat for 30 minutes or so. It may tame the wine a little more if decanted longer. In the end this is a very decent Bordeaux Supérieur.
Nice dark fruit with oak and leather. Smooth tannins. Usually in Bordeaux Superieurs I feel like the Merlot takes over completely but that wasn't the case at all with this wine. A good wine, I give this a low 4.

The 2009 vintage has a beautiful, shimmering ruby color and is made from 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of wild strawberry, cranberry, slight hints of spice and crushed herbs really jump out of the glass. The fruit hits the palate then demo
Gutes Alterungspotential.
This traditional Parenchere blend is very fleshy, with a very deeply coloured robe. Characterized by a good balance between fruit and tannin, it displays distinct red fruit aromas with a long, sustained finish.
This is a must buy at this price! Made by an incredible, over achieving chateau. Produced from approximately 50% Cabernet and 50% Merlot, it has aromas of black currants, spice and cassis. The palate is surprisingly full bodied, containing great texture, balance and length.
Gaumen: sind fülliger als herkömmliche Roséweine, recht stoffig und fruchtig
