Château de Maligny Chablis 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

"Admirably there is plenty of Chablis character to the airy and cool nose of mineral reduction, iodine and sea breeze aromas. There is good energy and precision to the moderately dry and intense medium-bodied flavors that possess just enough mid-palate fat to avoid austerity on the persistent finish. This is really quite good. Outstanding"- Burghound

Any (and actually all) of the Maligny Chablis are worth checking out but the AOC Chablis is a consistent favorite here at Premier and one of the best for beginner Burgundy drinkers. Perfectly epitomizing the crisp refreshing mouthfeel and steely minerality for which the best wines of this region are famous this 100% unoaked Chardonnay is the best go-to wine for seafood salads sushi or grilled clams.

Rich and savory, sporting melon, apple and citrus flavors, with an underlying stony element. Displays fine harmony and length. Drink now through 2016.

A rather rich and full-bodied style for Chablis, with some tropical fruit and lemon custard accents. The flavor lingers nicely. Tasted at the estate. Food pairing: Asian, seafood, poultry, pasta Flavor type: fruit-forward Body type: light-medium Finish: crisp
