Lancyre's flagship bottling, produced from some of the oldest Syrah vines in the Languedoc! Cassis, plums, spearmint and licorice on the nose. Deep and dense on the palate, with an underlying minerality and a long finish.

Winemaker's Notes:

Nose: Cassis, plums, spearmint and licorice.Taste: Deep and dense on the palate, slightly jammy with an underlying minerality and a long finish.Lancyre's flagship bottling, produced from some of the oldest Syrah vines in the Languedoc! Food & Wine Pairing: Serve at special occasions with classic roasts of lamb, beef, wild boar or game birds. Accolades: Robert Parker - 91 Points - 'Lancyre hasn't just turned in another white wine performance you would not expect in Pic Saint-Loup, they have really outdone themselves this year!' David Schildknecht The Wine Advocate - 91 pts, 'they have really outdone themselves' - The Wine Advocate, The World's Greatest Wine Values, 8/08. Varietals: 65% Syrah, 35% Grenache.
