Nice enough bordeaux. Dark red fruit, plum, prune, some tar and smoke. Medium tannins, moderate acidity and a short to medium finish. Not overly complex but fairly satisfying.

This is always one of the most fruit forward and seductive wines made in Fronsac, and given its success in the marketplace, there seems to be no reason to change that formula. The 2009 is a bigger wine than they normally produce, given the vintage's ... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 Dalem 750ml

The 2009 has the potential to be the finest Dalem ever made during my tasting career, eclipsing even their brilliant 2005. While it is generally a very good, richly fruity, open-knit Fronsac, in 2009, the wine possesses unprecedented levels of densit... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Licorice and berry aromas, with a dark plum undertone. Full -bodied, with velvety tannins and a fruity finish. Solid wine. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 Chateau de la Huste 750ml

Winemaker's Notes:

Fast schwärzliches Brombeerrot. Ausgeprägte Aromatik nach Brombeeren und Cassis, dezent Vanille und Röstaromen. Reiche Gaumenfülle.

Tasting Notes:

It boasts a deep purple color with sweet plum, cherry, oak, and pepper on the nose. There are characteristics of medium silky tannins along with a complex fruit and oak on the palate. 2009 is a very good vintage. Pairs well with hearty fall and winter dishes such as ribs, ragouts, and Camembert and Brie cheese.

Fast schwärzliches Brombeerrot. Ausgeprägte Aromatik nach Brombeeren und Cassis, dezent Vanille und Röstaromen. Reiche Gaumenfülle.
