"Loire Cabernet Franc has been the subject of a recent makeover to make it more<br/>contemporary in style. Had they been looking for a benchmark the authorities<br/>needn't have travelled far in selecting Philippe Vatan's consistently high<br/>quality, good value wine. Smoky-perfumed, bitter chocolate sweet<br/>black/red currant fruit aromatics pepper the nose, indicating a fine vintage;<br/>On the palate, the moreish mocha cassis fruit flatters the palate with a<br/>generous texture."
