Had this white at Per Se with a citrus-cured Japanese yellow tail, that encluded bottarga, cocktail grapefruit marmalade and anise-hyssop with "creme de navet." The citrus and clove elements in this wine were a perfect match. This wine is heavy and buttery on the tongue, with a fruit-forward citrus nose.

Deze witte wijn is gemaakt van een combinatie van Sémillion, Sauvignon Blanc en Muscadelle. De laatste druif wordt weinig verbouwd op het domein en wordt ook niet in elke jaargang verwerkt. Het is een mooie droge, verfijnde wijn die begint met een erg frisse neus. Het rijpe fruit overheerst maar is mooi in balans met de vanille en het hout. De wijn is mooi okergeel en kraakhelder in het glas. In de mond wordt de fruitsmaak versterkt en verfijnder weergegeven, dit is het moment dat de complexiteit van de wijn tot je door begint te dringen. Pas bij de lange, zoete, minerale afdronk weet je het zeker; Dit is weer zo’n fantastische, verfijnde witte wijn uit de Bordeaux! De Supersnobs zijn gek op dit spul! 92/100 Supersnobs.nl

After 4 or 5 years their whole finesse starts showing. But plenitude is reached about 10 years.
