reveals a rustic red brown ruby color and still a fairly dark hue for being 14 years old, aromas filled with dried red fruits, some funky old earth, cedar and barnyard smells with a little hint of mint. On the palate, softer red fruits, a little vegetal, beets, and a wonderful balance of tannins and acidity with not that long of a complex finish but beautiful and intriguing wine

Tasted February 2008: Expensive but superb wine with a top-notch bouquet (distinctive elder fruit and plums) and a slightly earthy, spicy taste and a delicious, dry and still oak-driven aftertaste. A classic Pessac-Léognan, ripe but not yet in decline, perfect with food. Will be good until 2012 (and possibly longer). Not for those who love blockbuster wines from a single grape variety.

A soft, full style, with a hint of pear backing mouthwatering kaffir lime and kiwifruit notes. Features a quinine streak on the finish.-J.M. Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blanc wine from Bordeaux in France. 2011 De Fieuzal Blanc 750ml

Château de Fieuzal has been owned and managed for more than three centuries by generations of passionate and committed winegrowers. The terroir, that unique mix of soil and microclimate, is exceptionally suited to the production of top quality wine.Originally called ô Gardères ö the estate takes its name from the original owners up until 1851, the Fieuzal family. Its vines grow on the finest gravel soil rises in the Pessac Léognan appellation. It is well drained, and not too rich.Wine growing and making methods are traditional and respect the environment. The grapes are concentrated, producing reds and whites of exceptional quality. The whites are minerally with white peach overtones and the reds opulent and fruity.

Still youthfully crunchy, with pear skin and green plum notes bouncing along, while the core of verbena, tarragon, white peach and heather waits in reserve. A light toasty edge should fill in nicely on the finish as this ages. Drink now through 2014.... Wine Spectator. A Bordeaux Blanc wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 De Fieuzal Blanc 750ml

The finest I have ever tasted, this is an awesome De Fieuzal, with plenty of lead pencil shavings intermixed with blueberry, black raspberry, and sweet cherries. A touch of smoke also emerges from this opaque purple-colored wine. Full-bodied, with lo... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 Fieuzal, De 750ml
