Since 1941 our only aim has been to produce great Rhône Valley wines whilst respecting our terroir and our identity. The rounded pebbles of the Rhône, the Southern sun, the Mistral, the emblematic grapes from the Rhône Valley : Syrah, Grenache, Viognier – these are the fundamental elements that define the identity of Campuget.
Lightly tart cherry nose - dry and light throughout. Tart cherries dominate. There's some delicate watermelon flavors and its a clean crisp wine - certainly able to pair well with picnics, quiche etc. Worked well with breaded chicken as well.
Cranberry, strawberry, and melon in the nose; a little bit tannic with red berries on the palate and a long, dry finish.
