Chateau de Campuget Invitation White 2012

External Review by Great Wines Direct:

A spicy, full and fruity wine with mineral tones.Costieres de Nimes, the easternmost appellation of the Languedoc, is effectively part of the Rhone since the climate, soil and topography are so similar to those just over the river in the southern Cotes-du-Rhone vineyards. The relatively uniform soils are marked by large pebbles on gentle, typically south-facing slopes. Chateau de Campuget is a top quality estate near Nimes with a long history. In its cellar, tradition and progress unite to provide aroma, finesse and bouquet. Chateau de Campuget deploys a wide range of traditional Rhone cepage to produce full, easy and spicy wines.Grapes: 55% Roussanne, 35% Grenache blanc and 10% MarsanneRegion: France / Rhone / Costieres de Nimes AOCMaker: Franck Lin Dalle/Christophe DhenninNotes: Traditional Rhone grape varietals make this a spicy, full and fruity wine with mineral tones.Serve: At 14c, it is the perfect summertime wine with fresh salads or with a barbecue. It is also excellent with grilled red peppers, with the olive oil from Campuget.ABV: 13%Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans
