Chateau de Campuget Costieres du Nimes Syrah 2002

Member Review by mcnl:

Amazing wine for the value. Tons of ripe berry fruit blended nicely with slight herb and pepper notes. Lovely, soft tannins allow for this to be consumed now or can be held for another 2-3 years.

I just opened this wine and let it sit overnite before drinking. It's definitely smooth and full of ripe dark fruits. Tannins are nice and calm as well. Found a hint of spice and and pepper and leather at the end. Medium to full bodied. Perfect to drink now but would not wait more than a year to consume.
