Food Pairings for Chateau de Brandey Bordeaux
Eh... well not bad for a 2 for one bevmo deal but as far as Bordeaux goes this is lacking some pretty big things. The acid level is strange, highs and lows. The nose is average at best. Slight tone of currents with and undertow of earthyness. I dont know if I agree with the other reviews on here saying this needs to age more. This is a drink now Bordeaux, I think more time in the bottle may make it more boring than it already is.
The wine needs more time to mature (vintage 2011) Bold flavor, medium finish with tart pomagranite and black fruit. Still a young wine. I suggest to store it for another 2-3 years so that it can develope.
Amazing. Very smooth and velvety.
