Château d'Avensan Club Cordier 2006
«From the heights of Avensan, the centuries look down» : near a remarkable church with Romanesque apses dating back to the 12th century, château d’Avensan is a family estate dating back to 1575 and fits into its surroundings perfectly. The Braquessac family, which also founded a trading house in 1850, has succeeded in turning this site and its wine into a «must» in the Médoc.
Food Pairings for Château d'Avensan Club Cordier
With its lovely deep red colour, the robe of this wine is clear and brilliant with dark tints. It releases an intense, aromatic bouquet of candied red fruit with slightly animal notes when it is aerated. This nicely balanced wine is fleshy, tannic and silky in the finish.
