enjoyed this, nice fruit and definitely catching some tobacco. Makes me want to light up - it's been a while. Wonder what cigar would go well with this wine..
Good Cru Bourgeois with smooth finish and reasonable price.
More character than John Falstaff or Nick Bottom in one or two of Shakespeare's plays - this wine is bursting at the seams with good stuff and a dark and velvet undertone of red berries lightly coated with icing sugar... I like - it doesn't command the £30 paid for it in Zuntra, Acapulco Bay, although It does have more flavour than their food! Concours mondial Bruxelles - Gold Medal; 2004 beats the 2005 (silver) hands down (too early to tell with 2006 also gold)
Ruby color, dark fruit flavors, pleasant but short finish. Medium bodied, lacks complexity.
