Powdered sugar and chalky on the nose with cherries and raspberries. Light dry red fruit palate, some cinnamon sugar spice but not a huge amount of complexity. Nice.

Winemaker's Notes:

Château d'Aqueria is a spacious estate of 99 hectares with 66 hectares planted in vines surrounding the Château wich is quite an exceptional phenomenon and where Tavel, red and white Lirac and red Côtes du Rhône wines are produced. This white Rhone blend is a brilliant yellow colour with golden tints. The nose fully expresses the floral character of the grape varieties. A light fresh attack, very harmonious, marries flowers and white fruit going from violets to apricots and white peaches. Lovely roundness in the mouth with a nice refreshing finish. A good wine to go with shellfish in salad, grilled fish with fennel or monkfish, dry goat's cheese with coriander or a Brie cheese stuffed with truffles.
