Château d'Aqueria Lirac 2003
The flavors and aromas of this wine were enjoyable yet somewhat subtle. Dark berries including blackberry on the forefront with accents of spice and a touch of wood. Medium-light body with moderate tannins that definitely make themselves known without completely dominating the wine. This wine reminds me of some Cotes du Rhone that I have tried and could probably easily pass as such in a blind tasting.

Wine Tasting NotesDeep and dark in color, with scents of berry's and an ensemble of spiced cassis fruits on the palate. Well balanced with good tannins and a high complexity of fruit. Made by esteemed wine maker Vincent de Bez and a tip-top example of fine Lirac.
