Chateau Angludet never seem seems to disappoint; the 2011 (a slightly sub-par vintage) has produced a very fine-very Margaux expressing well this southern commune of Medoc. The wine is now quite mature; tannin is soft, indicating a life of about 1-3 years before no further improvement can be expected. Nose is herbal with blackberry dominant; entry is blackberry and Mediterranean herb with a soft, non-tannic finish. Beautiful wine for the vintage. 90.
