Château d'Angludet Red Bordeaux Blend Margaux 2009

Winemaker's Notes:

The Château d'Angludet 2009 is deep in colour, with an almost exotic scent of dark fruits and floral notes alongside gamey tones of damson jam and sweet cassis. This is very soft and polished, with a fairly open palate with a gentle suppleness of fruit. Then against the soft acids and plump fruit comes a wall of sweet tannins and masses of fruit, which persist right through to the finish. This is atypical for d'Angludet, combining the freshness and ripeness of the vintage, but in a far more vibrant style. This will be a very good value in 2009 and will continue to develop over the next few years. To drink over the next 10-15 years.
