Château d'Angludet Red Bordeaux Blend Margaux 2001

Winemaker's Notes:

Relentless efforts by the whole Sichel family,
owners since 1961, have made this one of
Bordeaux's most popular and consistent estates.
Their 2001 certainly doesn't disappoint. With an
elegant nose and palate this has fresh cassis fruit
with gentle raspberry flavours and firm tannins
that will soften over the next few years. This is
classic Margaux at a very accessible price.

Château d'Angludet:
The Château d'Angludet estate covers a total of 81 hectares, 32 of which are planted with vines. Today, the vines, - which are 25 years old on average and planted at a density of 6,666 vines per hectare, consist of a balanced mix of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot.

Dunkles lebhaftes Purpurrot. Fruchtbetontes Bouquet (schwarze Beeren, Pflaumen) mit dezenter Eichenholznote und einer Spur Vanille. Am Gaumen samtig mit festem Tannin.
