Chateau d'Angludet. Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel 2004

Winemaker's Notes:

This Cru Bourgeois classified wine should be at least a 5th Growth, the Sichel family have owned the Château since 1961 and have made fantastic improvements since then. Powerful fruit flavours of sweet blackcurrant and cassis with eucalyptus notes. Tightly-knit tannins, but will benefit from breathing.

Château d'Angludet:
The Château d'Angludet estate covers a total of 81 hectares, 32 of which are planted with vines. Today, the vines, - which are 25 years old on average and planted at a density of 6,666 vines per hectare, consist of a balanced mix of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot.
