Winemaker's Notes:

Tasting Notes: Dry rosé from the South of France with elegant complexity of raspberry, peach and citrus fruits. Plentiful and long mouth balanced by a great freshness. Château d Anglès is the family-run estate of former Lafite Rothschild winemaker Eric Fabre. Percentage Grape: 80% Cinsault, 10% black Grenache, 10% Syrah. Soil: Massif de la Clape hard limestone scree. Pebble terrace from the Miocene (domain specific). Growing Climate: 300 days of sunshine a year, 14°C average temperature, strong influence of the sea that hydrates the vines during the nights of the warm summer. Date of Harvest: End of September Type of Harvest: Grapes are hand picked and selected, totally de-stemmed and the juice is gravity fed into vats. Vinification Length: 1 month Vinification Method: Cleaned from bad lees twice, cold and slow fermentation. Vinification Temperature: 16°C Malolactic: No Color Intensity: 0,36 Fining Collage: Collage Date of Bottling: 2005/03/03 Bottle Type: Satin finish long neck white bordelaise bottle.
