[Barrel tasting] A well-balanced, concentrated wine, full of botrytis flavors: richness, poised honey and lemon. This is going to be an impressive wine for a second growth — in about 10 years — but already shows signs of greatness.

Ageworthy Sauternes from a small winery in Bordeaux. This dessert wine has lots of botrytis and is very complex on the palate - ripe peaches, apricots, dried pears, lanolin and soft acidity.

Apple pie and lemon tart aromas follow through to a full body, with medium sweetness and a lively, bright finish of citrusy acidity and spiciness. Very young. Powerful. Best after 2012.

Pale yellow-gold color. Peach and apricot aromas carry through onto the dense palate, where they are joined by suave oak and a finishing element of candied citrus peel. Ripe acidity gives the wine a juicy quality in the middle, as well as a firm edge on the finish that calls for some patience.

Goldfarben. Frische feinduftige Nase nach kandierten Früchten und gerösteten Mandeln. Leichte Holznuance. Am Gaumen kraftvoll.
