An ageworthy red from Saint Estèphe, dense and concentrated with layers of flavor. Château Coutelin Merville is owned by the talented winemaker, Bernard Estager. The estate has 60 acres of vines near Châteaux Haut Marbuzet and Tour de Pez. This wine is a blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot that spent 18 months in oak barrels (a quarter of them new) before bottling.
