Reviews for 2002 Vintage
Mixes some pepper, tobacco and leather notes with currant and blackberry. Benefits from some air.
This was a pleasant surprise as it was the wine served on a dinner cruise on the river Seine in Paris. I found it extremely drinkable - a good mid-range, affordable Bordeaux!
A poor imitator, the wine is too watery, thin. The aftertaste weakly lingers, bitter, on the tongue, disappointing a fine nose of blackberry and port.

disagree completely. both the 05 and the 03 shine with value. for under $13 this is an incredible Bordeaux. With a beautiful blend of earth and fruit it is an enticing and affordable wine; applicable for everything from parties and special occasions to the everyday pizza wine. Blackberry tobacco, spice, cassis, leather, and bell pepper explode on the palate...mmmmm its delicious.
