Château Cotes de Bonde Red Bordeaux Blend Montagne-St. Émilion 2006

Member Review by VegasOenophile:

Possessing a rich, dark, loamy and earthy nose. Freshly turned soil. Black plum skin and a suggestion of pencil shavings. Lively on the palate with very dark fruit, yet a nice acidity. It's a bit stemmy through the finish, with flavors of maduro tobacco leaf, tar, ink and black fruits. Very heavy in flavor, yet only lighter to medium bodied in mouthfeel. Air should do it good. Has an interesting marmalade/molasses finish. 87 pts.
