Chateau Cos Labory Saint Estephe Chateau Cos Labory Saint Estephe Cabernet Sauvignon 1995

Member Review by chock:

Cracked this 1995 open in Oct of 2012 (as the SF Giant up 2-0 against Detroit Tigers in the World Series). Probably a little past it's prime. Still had a decent color - not burnt around the edges and a decent nose. Very light and bright. Not a lot of fruit, but not overly dusty. Decent drinker, but not special.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
