Chateau Corbin Michotte Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé 2004

Member Review by Vignobles Boidron:

Fine, tangy, oaky nose, red fruits. Fairly rich, juicy, concentrated, spicy and vigorous, elegant, an appealing freshness, good length. From 4 to 12 years (Decanter – May 2007) Clean, brilliant, medium density, cherry red, ruby reflections. Intense, very elegant bouquet of blueberries in liqueur, black truffle, delicate animal notes of leather and wet hide, backdrop of pencil lead, good quality, medium length Powerful attack, ample body important fruit volume, wood present, but well polished, aftertaste a surge of truffle fragrance, very long and deep persistence. (Tasted – Winter 2007/2008)
