Bright, but light aromas of licorice and red fruit. The palate is strongly of spiced red fruit. Very pleasant and fun to drink with an eternal finish of warm red fruit.

Much thicker and voluptuous than the 6, which was tasted previously. There's a merest hint of tightness on the finish still, but just a hint. Nose of cassis and cherry. Lacks the complexity that its older vintages are showing and the secondary flavors are just beginning to show. Long sweet finish on fruity cherry and plums.
