Château Capdet Listrac Médoc 2000

Member Review by duncan 906:

I bought this bottle of wine a while ago from www.bidforwine.co.uk/auctions/show/14507 for the price of six pounds 50 pence.Chateau Capdet is a small property that has been in the Raymond family for about a century and is in the Listrac-Medoc Appellation. At 43 metres above sea level the commune of Listrac is the highest in the Medoc and has the prestigous neighbours of Pauillac,St.Julien and Margaux. The wine consists of 48% merlot,42% cabernet sauvignon and 10% cabernet franc.I drank it last week with my dinner of pork chops and my main impression was how fresh and fruity it was. This is definitely a quality claret
