Château Cantenac - AOC Saint Emilion Grand Cru  Since 1870, Château Cantenac produces fine wines that finds their emotions in the heart of its terroir and in the hands of the people that gives life to them.  Surrounding a charming manor from the XIXth century, this beautiful vineyard is situated on the historic place known as "Cantenac" (lieu-dit), at the "avant-garde" of the village on sand-gravel and sand-gravel-clay soils. The latin origin of "Cantenac" means "enchanted place", and in old french "wooden poles on which the vines grew" signifying ancient viticulture. What a pretty meaning for a terroir of excellence ! Nicole Roskam-Brunot & Sons perpetuate this family passion and tradition since 1937 at Château Cantenac. Their philosophy is about Elégance & Finesse by obtaining the highest quality grapes, the authenticity and by expressing the personnality of each vintage.  It's on this enchanting place that the Roskam-Brunot family receives you and tells their story. Saint-Emilion is the first wine territory classified by the Unesco as a World Heritage for Humanity.  Read less
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
