Add your reviewRobert Parker 90 Points As I indicated last year, quality has improved dramatically at this estate, and the 2006 is a quintessentially elegant Bordeaux displaying a dark ruby/purple color, a lovely bouquet of forest floor, sweet cherries, cranberries, and black currants, medium body, a textured, sweet, tannic mouthfeel, and a long finish. Everything is beautifully pure as well as perfectly balanced in this outstanding effort. Anticipated maturity: 2010-2025. Excellent value.

Still, there is good structure and balance and this suggests a long life. Hold until 2012 or later. This edition has the classified growth quality sometimes absent in prior vintages.

Received this wine as the result of a NCAA basketball tourney bet. We weren't sure what to expect and weren't even sure what haut-medoc is. It has a strong berry and mint nose and medium tannins. We should probably have laid it down for a few more years as it tastes super young and tight. Paired it with hamburgers since we didn't know better, but think it would do better with a nice pork chop. Would buy it again.
