Deep, deep, colour, wonderful bacon edge aroma, violets and similar on a gorgeous palate. Plenty of cassis laced with inky fruit. Super. Alcohol 13%. http://www.spittoon.biz/brief_notes_from_the_top_100_v.html

Full dark ruby-red color. Aromas of middle eastern spice, smoky tobacco, licorice and violets. The fruit tastes of just-ripe blackberries with meaty, dark earthy undertones and supple dusty tannins on the finish. Full-bodied and juicy. Reminds me of a solid Northern Rhone Croze-Hermitage at a much lower price!
