Full dark ruby-red color. Aromas of middle eastern spice, smoky tobacco, licorice and violets. The fruit tastes of just-ripe blackberries with meaty, dark earthy undertones and supple dusty tannins on the finish. Full-bodied and juicy. Reminds me of a solid Northern Rhone Croze-Hermitage at a much lower price!
