Decanted over 5 hours. Maroon color and a little hot on the nose. Notes of lavender, stonefruit and tobacco on the nose, concentrated stonefruit palette with a good deal of acid and soft, sweet notes of cherry, vanilla and white pepper, a little tannin lingering to be softened up in the next few years. notes of cocoa and leather in the finish. Well-balanced wine and very enjoyable to drink.
