This Cru Bourgeois (Haut-Medoc) is dark red - almost tenturier-like in depth. On the nose there is blackberry, cassis and cedar bark with a hint of menthol. En bouche, the red fruit is forward with good mouth-feel (round) and grip. Tannin is well in evidence but not overpowering making this wine very enjoyable now. Medium long finish. Drink now through 2017. 90 points.

Another of my favorite estates from the southern part of the Medoc, Macau, this Haut-Medoc cru bourgeois is a blend of 54% Merlot, 42% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot. The alcohol was 14% and the wine bottled unfined and unfiltered by its cons... Robert Parkers Wine Advocate. A Bordeaux Blend wine from Bordeaux in France. 2009 Cambon la Pelouse 750ml
