Winemaker's Notes:

Wine/Winemaking: "Strict selection from among the oldest plots of vines and yields limited to 45 hl/ha provide the essential foundations for the quality of this wine. It is made using techniques that preserve all the flavours of the grapes. The wine is matured in oak barrels for 12 months (50% new barrels each year). The wine is characterised by its intense colour, a delicated red-fruit bouquet, robust, mature tannic structure and great length." - Winery History: "Monsieur de Cambon, the owner at the time of the French Revolution, gave the estate its name. The revolutionaries confiscated his property, but he did get it back a few years later. In 1996, the estate was taken over by Annick and Jean-Pierre Marie. They have made a large number of investments to renovate it and provide it with the very best equipment. For several years now, the property has been producing wines whose quality has earned the praises of professionals and lovers of great crus." - Winery This wine was also scored 88 Points by the Wine Advocate.
