Rating: 18/20 - As reviewed by Jancis Robinson Not the standout one might have expected for the vintage. Very deep colour but more obvious maturity at the rim than the 1988. On the nose however it was if anything lighter and tarter than the 1988. By no means the most generous 1982 with some tannins on the finish even now although much livelier and crisper than most 1982. The richness still lurks underneath, weighted down by the tannins.
