Consistently one of my favorite sleepers of the vintage, and a candidate for the best value in terms of pennies for points, this sexy, richly fruity, medium to full-bodied, charming, seductive wine is impossible to ignore. It will drink beautifully for 5-6 years, and will probably last even longer. There are glorious levels of black cherry and berry fruit intermixed with smoke, minerals, and oak. Luscious and opulent, it is a thrill to drink.
