Château Bourgneuf Pomerol 2003
Pours a medium Violet color with some light reddish rust hues on the edges. Lots of dark fruit, vanilla, oak and some leather flavors but the dark fruit is most prevalent. Starts off with lots of blackberries, plums, currants and dark cherries. In the middle it is blended nicely with some undertones of vanilla. Finishes just like the middle. This is a very well balanced wine with lots of berries and vanilla. The tannins have subsided a bit and this is drinking rather well right now.
