A pleasant blend, citrus and white flower aromas, crispy, well-balanced acidity. A sure value, anytime.

André Lurton:
A respect for the typicity of our terroir whilst at the same time always searching for a modernity of style. A respect for the past and the accumulated experience of the region but equally the same respect for our current consumers and their expectations in terms of wine style and quality. We firmly believe in developing technological innovations that allow us to move towards the twin goals of quality and price accessibility.

Very mild - light citrus and a hint of flowers. Not a whole lot of acid.

This is an extremely affordable, dry white—the best value I've seen yet from France and possibly the best value ever. A hint of grapefruit lends to a subtle, sweet, but overall very subtle citrus-like wine. Here's a toast to the best way to end a summer.

Whole lotta bleh. Nothing was really jumping out on this one. Tasted like a wall of apple juice.

Actually, quite a nice bottle, age is key with this one. Five years or more is highly recommended, as this fine Bordeaux defines well the saying "that wine is better with age". 2 and 3 year old bottles can be bought for $15 - $20, then store it in your wine cellar for a couple years. 5 year old bottles will then easily sit in the company of $60 - $80 bottles and hold it's own - that's quite a value!

My first review, so forgive the rookie effort, but I found this wine slightly astrigent, floral notes with a crisp oakey finish. Interesting, not sure I would buy again, but not bad.

50% sauvignon blanc, 40% semillon, 10% muscadelle. Tropical fruit and citrus aromas mingle on the nose with a just a bit of minerality. Flavors of grapefruit and light floral notes emerge on the crisp, clean palate, with the semillon providing a bit... John Perry. A very fresh and grassy white, with lime zest and kiwifruit hanging on the finish. Drink now.

The vast 300-acre estate of Château Bonnet in the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers produces a deliciously reliable, good value wine every year. This brand-new 2008 shows some lively yellow fruits as well as a strong citrus element. It has vibrantly fresh, pure fruit and is ready to drink now, but can age for a year. Screwcap.

A delightful and refreshing blend, and a perfect introduction to white Bordeaux. With aromatic peach and melon scents and a crisp, dry finish, it's a treat on its own, or before dinner with delicately flavored snacks.

A crisp, clean, fruity wine, tangy and lemony. This is a really attractive wine, a classic of its kind. Screwcap.

Famous Bordeaux vintner, Andre Lurton inherited the centuries old Chateau Bonnet from his grandfather in 1956. Since then he has taken careful measures to improve the property both in the vineyards and in the winery. As a result Chateau Bonnet is world renowned for producing fine quality wines that are excellent values.
