Chateau Bonnet Blanc Entre-Deux-Mers 2012
A respect for the typicity of our terroir whilst at the same time always searching for a modernity of style. A respect for the past and the accumulated experience of the region but equally the same respect for our current consumers and their expectations in terms of wine style and quality. We firmly believe in developing technological innovations that allow us to move towards the twin goals of quality and price accessibility.

Vintner and Bordeaux ambassador for fifty years, Andre Lurton has never produced a wine that didn’t express the unique terrior of Bordeaux along with best modern wine making techniques. Lurton’s Chateau Bonnet is located in the Entre-Deux-Mers region between the Bordeaux rivers. The soil is clay and limestone that’s ideal for the white varietals of Bordeaux. The blend is 50% Sauvignon Blanc, 40% Semillon and 10% Muscadelle, all for vines averaging 20+ years old. The wine is fermented slowly and then matures for four months in tank on the lees. This gives the wine a rich texture and a fine complexity. A perpetual "Best Buy' this Bonnet Blanc from the outstanding 2012 vintage, has lively acidity and distinct grapefruit and citrus notes. It’s a wine that rivals whites selling for twice the price.
